         Divergent Paths

Dissolve past and future worries
in the resplendent ‘now’…
(this delicate moment held in
  ‘deep-Time' suspension)

Let your mind float free
as an empty cloud
along the farthest edges
of this sunset Earth.

Wander late winter woods
of fine snow-feather dreams
where murmuring mountain
    streams
of most radiant purity,
(with subtle hints of Spring)
speak softly to the soul
in Nature’s ‘voice’ ...
that true ‘happiness’ lies
within any mind and
heart freely given
to the untamed spirit of
   the wilderness.

Follow the least traveled path
    of cosmic enlightenment,
in awe and simple celebration of
the ever-evolving and infinitely
diverse wonder and complexity
of this boundless Universe!
