Even Love is A Choice

You can choose
who you love
but in truth
they can choose too
and they may
not choose you.
Think about it.
We are limited
by our ability
to choose wisely.
Pre-determining the
availability and
sustainability of
a relationship
is a complex process
and by our choices
we can create a life
full of pain
or pleasure.

You are quite the philosopher, besides being a great romantic, dear James.

Sometimes the rational mind gets in the way of the heart choices and makes things complicated.

Every day is built with our choices, no doubt, and when it's about love, the choices are indeed of highest importance for our lives.

Then some may choose not to choose at all, and I'm never quite sure if those are the ones we should pity or praise.
