Near twelve months now since words I’ve written
Since sharing life and thoughts within
But by the bug again I’m bitten
Searching place to now begin

It’s been a while and much has been
My heart has smiled as I have changed
Now older but have clearly seen
And with life’s puzzle now arranged

I needed words to fill a space
But slowly it was filled with time
With choices that all fell in place
Until again my words would rhyme

This life is one with many roads
Of turns so tight they’re hard to take
Of feathered weights to braking loads
Of days and choices that we make

So hi again my fellow friends
I’m back again to share this place
To feel a joy that seldom ends
Through words that smile with care and grace

You are such an honest to goodness poet, Rick.  Your writing expresses a sense of unity and compassion, and I always come away with good feelings after reading you.

So glad to see you back, Rick, I haven't been on much myself lately but it's good to see old friends and read some good poetry.

Hello Rick,

I've joined during your absence so you're like a new member to me and me to you. I enjoyed your writing above and will be looking for more from you.

Sometimes life pulls in a different direction than we had planned and we have no choice but to give in to the pull.

Welcome Home,

So beautifully expressed, dear Rick.
It's wonderful to have you back here.

Do you have news of our friend LindsayP?

Love,
Margherita

Well written words...  not sure what brought you back but I'm glad you are posting again. My personal muse tends to incline toward the less holier emotions, but always, her words end up here.
