Superimposed
sketched in petina and sepia tones
tracing you with my eyes closed
outlining your silhouette
transfers the moment
caressing the movement
blending shades
details my thoughts
memorizing the finer points
drawing me to you
cast in the sunlight
brazen and bronzed.

Whew! Now that is what I call memorializing someone within your thoughts. You had it written so well I had an image of your object of delight.

ooh, nice and lilting (implied) melody. LIKEY! You rock, Blues. Wish I had that kinda lyrical flow in my stuff.

Keepin' this one.

Wow!   Bluesy, this is wonderful and easy to relate.  I am so glad I stopped in for a moment and saw your post.   It seems I have writer's block and rarely hold a pen, but I do have petina and sepia tones tucked away.   I love your poem.  It paints the moment so well.
It is so good to read you again!   (Saving your poem.)
