I stand alone before the Gates of Time

Awaiting the sparkle of life to lead

They think they can turn my world on a dime

That my terms of worth are not agreed

The rain pouring down may dampen my hair

But it can never dampen my heart

No hot-headed power can ever cooly compare

The wonder of freedom, by living apart

A Single drop: That's all it takes

to make a cup overflow

Popping the bubble and hitting the brakes

I turn away to pave my own road.

Nothing like doing it your way, then you have no one to blame but yourself, and that's okay too. Learn by mistakes, other's mistakes preferably, but yours too.
