The City of New Orleans

Beneath chandeliers and muted lights
Jazz echoed down the corridors
The bright marble floors felt warm at my feet
Even in the humidity
I felt lighter than the spiced air

As I stood inside this theater
No longer did I feel so small

Only later did I realize
What else, life had left for me to learn

Oh, there are plenty left to learn, and if you write about them all as eloquently as you did here, the world will benefit greatly for your learning experience.

Just this--

when in New Orleans, don't go to Bourban St. for music.

Head toward Frenchmen St.

Snug Harbor is good--but the Spotted Cat is better.

You seem like a jazzy type of soul.

Waving wildly at serenity / Frenchman Street / I stuck that street and a wild chapter in my very first book, "My Mother's Revenge."

Came back to compliment the seasoning of Juju's write, and to blush a bit. Frenchmen.

Now why do I always think of man in plural?
