What Happened to Our “Declaration of Independence"?

What have we done to our Nation?
Where did we go astray?
What happened to our Freedoms?
What price, must we pay?

The “Bill of Rights” is trampled
While we stand idly, by
We vote them in to screw us
Then have the gall, to ask, “Why?”

We let our politicians
To be, bought, and, sold, like pawns
But, talk about gullible people
Well, we are the perfect ones!

We won’t set term limits
Let them, make it a career
Do it time, and again
It seems we have no fear!

No, it’s that we are stupid
Those of the WORKING class
‘Cause we don’t tell our “reps” (?)
They should kiss OUR ass.

It started with Roosevelt, Hussein thinks he's the coup de grace. Subversive doctoring has been taught since grade school to universities. This is, and has been, all by design.

We have witnessed the last of democracy. We are now in the post democracy period. We have handed them our freedoms in exchange for money and favors. It is a weakness in our nature that causes this.
We will soon be bankrupt. Then young people will take over and rebuild.
You have written a thought provoking poem
