EVENING SHADOWS

Evening shadows
caress her shoulders
where, soft-moaning,
she folds her wings
over her quivering heart.

I don't know what fowl you had in mind but I saw our beautiful white pidegeons coming back to roost at sunset. we find them quite lovely.
