To slow dance with you
until the sun slips the halo
off the marquise moon
to be the window
to the ocean's view
to mirror footprints
for the sky's design
and court the morning
as the stars recline

to slowdance with you

before the waking world
reminds.

Nuttin' like a good slowdance of two or three or . . . To put things in perspective as only a slowdance can do.
