women were highways often leading into temptation or away from it on occasion women were sometimes whiskey leaving me drunk on love or trying harder to become so women were occasional tomorrows with promises worth waiting for and hopes today would end premature women were mostly yesterdays with those look backs over shoulders and wondering how the fits would be if u-turns had just dawned on me sober _____________ daark (highway series) |
