Thirteen years is a long time for a dog to live
She was well taken care of
And loved by her human counterparts
She died naturally yesterday
Zoe and I just came from checking on her

Sweet Maude, may you soar happily in the new dimension together with many many friends. It is good to hear from Jerry that you were much loved down here and the connection of love will continue, no doubt.

Thank you, dear Jerry, for letting us know.
A caress to Zoe who may be sad.

Love,
Margherita

Yeah, she was an easy old dog to love. Zoe and I will miss her. Thanks Margherita and Martie.

You and yours were good to her and hers...
and you gave her things to think about from
one day to another.

Good friends do that.

Thanks, everyone. It's strange how quickly you can become attached to a dog like Maude.

I knew this before I came into Pip.  Can’t see through my tears.  Thank you for telling us.  Thank you and Zoe for giving her so much love and something to look forward to every day.  I don’t think many people will believe me, but I knew this today at 4.10pm South African time.  On the way back from the vet’s where I went to get more dog food for Benji, my cloud messages from Flicka my horse, Tigger my cat, and Daisy my dog, were particularly spectacular and there was a golden column of sunrays beaming up to the clouds.  I instinctively knew that was the pathway for Maude up to Heaven that my Heavenly babies were showing me.  I was still going to have to face somebody when I got home and so didn’t allow myself to cry more than a couple of tears then, but I asked Flicka and Tigger and Daisy to make sure (although I knew they would) that they introduce Maude to everyone and to show her around Heaven and make sure that she was comfortable and happy except for missing her owners and you and Zoe.  Once before, when the cat of the daughter of a past colleague of mine went to Heaven, my babies showed me a column of sunrays up to Heaven as well, so I knew that Maude had made the trip – and safely, though there are many tears all over the world, I am sure – certainly in Durban, South Africa - at her departure.  Thank you Jerry and Zoe (and thank you Jerry for another photo of Maude), and goodbye darling Maude – Auntie Di loves you lots and lots and misses you terribly, but God and Flicka and Tigger and Daisy and all your new animal and animally people friends will look after you and you will be very happy in Heaven.
