Polished stone, ornate inscription.
Cold hard reality, is this depiction.
Loss of a loved one, never agreeable.
Pain, sorrow, emptiness so unforeseeable.

Memories of a life, ended too soon.
The lyrics go on, without a tune.
A day of remembrance is on the rise.
A day to look to the skies.

An emotional venture into the past.
To relive memories everlast.
To honor those who have passed on.
To hold dear in our Hearts who are never gone!

Such a beautiful tribute, I doubt I'll read another today more so. Thank you.
