tho strange thru the haze
the memories fade
yet become so clear
as if I were there
again
hearing you speak to me
tho I never heard
a thing

you wanted so desparately
to hold my hand
then you let go
and never told me
what I needed to know

so now

after the fog

and thru the raging storms

I fight back tears,
give into anger,
and try desparaately
to hear the words
that I never heard
maybe because
they were never spoken....

This almost has a humorous side to it, but it is anything but funny. I like your slapstick way of writing. You have your heart and soul invested in this poem.
