MY DARLING DAISY-GIRL’S SECOND BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN
24 May 2011

Happy Birthday, my sweet darling little Daisy-dog,
this is your second birthday in Heaven.

I didn’t cry one tear
in front of my colleague’s at work,
but I allowed myself a few before work
and I allowed the floodgates to open
when I got home.

I know God and Flicka and Tigger
will have  given you a wonderful party
with all your animal and animally-people friends
and I am happy for you,
but I miss you (and Flicka and Tigger) so much.

My Daisy-darling, I want to hold you tight
and cuddle your soft white curls
and do Eskimo kiss, nose to nose
as I gaze into your darling little blind eyes
that I could feel, saw so much
and that I know are completely restored
to full sight now.

I want to hear your joyful little squeals of delight
with your precious little paws on the window-sill
when I returned home
and feel the mutually adoring welcome at the door
with your tail wagging a thousand to the dozen
and your little paws so gently on Mommy’s knees.

Mommy will be with you again one day,
not soon, I don’t think, but eventually,
and then you and Tigger and Flicka
and Benji and Cleo and me
will be together forever.

Diana...The love is so obvious in everything that you write of your animal family.  Hugging you!

Thank you, my very dear friend, Martie, for understanding so perfectly.  I so needed that hug.  Hugs back.  Your Precious will have been at Daisy's birthday party, and will have loved her own welcome party when she arrived at the Gates of Heaven recently to be welcomed by Flicka, Tigger and Daisy and all their friends.  They will all be so happy every day, playing and sending us messages and being our Guardian Angels.

We have an Irish Setter about 6 years gone...
sometimes I'll walk into a room and it's like she's there the odor of her hose-wet, sweaty body is so strong....cool piece my friend.

Thank you Jimmy.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your Irish Setter girly.  I know exactly what you mean - and at that moment it hits you full in the solar plexus.

I understand that my babies, Flicka in 2002, Daisy in 2009 and Tigger in 2010, had to go at the respective ages of 37½,14½ and 15½, but I ache so much without them.  I am consoled by the fact that they are well and happy.

Oh Diana, I need a case of Kleenex. I have so many who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Maybe one or more is with you Daisy. I hope so.
Tearful Hugs,
Marcia

Oh, Marcia.  They all will be.  I have other babies who went before Flicka, Tigger and Daisy, but it was Flicka who taught me to communicate with him and then Daisy and then Tigger (longish story) and I know they (all yours and all mine and all of everyone's) are all together and my three and perhaps others welcome the animal and animally people newcomers and introduce them to everyone when they arrive.  Thank you for your response and thank you for loving your animals so much.

Thank you Ida and Alison for your wonderful warmth.  I know you feel it, Ida and I know you are thinking of me Alison.  You both know how much I appreciate these heart-warming and supportive replies.
