We do not build one’s life with memories,
Greece was an antique beautiful journey
and this girl had luxurious landscapes
which it is now necessary to leave aside.

let us leave amphoras to the left of the staircase,

For now the softest hand
the one who consoles you of the virtue
caresses you as a pearl in an oyster,

take her as a treasure of mountains
and let fly away above rivers
the shy memories as forgettable kites.




On ne bâtit pas sa vie avec des souvenirs,
la Grèce fut un beau voyage antique
et cette fille avait de somptueux paysages
qu’il faut maintenant laisser de côté.

Il faut se pardonner d’oublier,
les ombres qui durent sont d’étonnants vertiges,
et dans les allées de notre propre musée
laissons les amphores à gauche de l’escalier,

Maintenant la main la plus douce
celle qui vous console de la vertu
vous caresse comme une perle dans une huitre,

prenez la comme un trésor des montagnes
et laissez s’envoler au dessus des rivières
les souvenirs craintifs comme des cerfs volants.

Yann, ton poème en anglais est beau comme la faïence fine, et sensible comme les mains d’une ballerine comme ton poème en français - mais en français, de plus, ton poème vole comme un ange. J'y trouve des chuchotements de Lamartine. Tu es un vrai poète.

Merci beaucoup Diana, ton français est excellent et poétique, il est fort de sens, tes compliments sont précieux et surtout chaleureux, comme tu le dis j'aime la faience et j'en parle parfois dans mes poèmes car je trouve que c'est un travail délicat comme la poésie, bravo à tes superbes poèmes et à tes commentaires émouvants,
