and on those sometimes mornings there
where dawn and last evening are combined
and you bring that smile in carefully wrapped
with some curves too that make me forget

most of the highways I knew the expected of
and the unexpected too, how they would disturb
so I leave them at some pasture side sighway
letting imagination take over the reins

you speak of gentle wings within your mind
and I watch the kiss places of your words
as they slip from lovely like a sundown
before the pale amazing of your gaze begins

and I can only imagine you with shadows dancing

This delight brings back some wonderful
shadow dancing memories from days gone
by...and there were a lot of shadow poems
back then.

Maybe it's time to bring one or two of them
back up.
