I Wrote I wrote of a friend today But only in my mind… Yet, she heard, and then she hugged I wrote of a friend today I wrote to a friend today It doesn’t matter who She’ll read it in all good time I wrote to a friend today I wrote through a friend today Finding her glorious common sense Then shared it with many others… I wrote through a friend today I wrote while being a friend today Common sense, some problems solved Hoping she’ll hang on yet awhile I wrote while being a friend today I didn’t know I was being a friend When I did all of the above But He slapped me on my head I heard “you are filled with love” And to that I could not agree It was just the common thought That it was them who brought me to The gifts I’ve ever thought… Those natural and normal, and much To my surprise, a common gift of any Was in such a wild demise So why is it I touch, and touch This, I wondered to myself The shy one, a stutterer, the lone one The girl who reads her books…Yet… I was told today… You touch, because you look. I wrote this little poem today For you who do not think That you might do it at all, with watch, and hence forth, ink. © krj May 19, 2011 |

You wrote all those letters, etc., because that is who you are. You have feeling and compassion and want everything to go along unperturbed and there is nothing wrong with that way of thinking or feeling. ~ Plastic surgeons are always making mountains out of molehills. ~ |

Jerry, you are partially correct in your assumptions, and that is fine. Read again, and through the lines... and hugs for reading me. Ali-friend...you are already in that microcosm of letters....you inspired this poem...and it's all a puzzle, y'know? It's the fact that if we think of one another at all...then we are writing to them....  Thank you both! |

Margherita... I tried the sound of your language several times against my ear and tongue and all that I slipped onto my tongue and all that I heard.... was better than what you responded to. Thank you, my dear friend. I admire your talents so much; I wish I had the wherewithal to be so talented in languages. |
