Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

0 posted 2011-05-19 03:37 AM

it seems like lately
i have been thiking of/missing
Kacy, our MidniteSun.
i think of how she often
wrote about Gaia
and how I would think
about Physical Geography
often when i read her poetry.
i remember her Nessy and smile
as i hear the waves crashing
off the Oregon coast
into my Alaskan home.
this home that she loved
outhouses and all.
lately, i have been thinknig
about Kacy as i view the world
through eyes she lent me.

i looked at her picture today
and i blew a kiss.

I am misting up, Alison.  She came into my thoughts Tuesday.  Her Oregon coast still breathes untamed beauty. I wish I could have met her.  We had planned on it. She must be smiling on us.  May your day be blessed, Alison.  Thank you for a special and tender remembrance.  ~Karen

Beautiful heart emotions, dear Alison, for our beloved Kacy/Midnitesun. I miss her too. Just recently I read a few of her poems in the archives, she was such a treasure here!
Whenever I see a Van Gogh it's the same, my thoughts wander to her and her passion for his art.

Love and hugs.
Margherita

It just must be that time to do so...because I've been thinking of her too, and doubt I could have said it all as well as you did, darlin' girl. Thank you.

Alison, the beauty of poets is that they bring things to life...and the unique legacy of their work are bits and pieces of their heart and soul that we can feel again and again...you honor her well with remembering. oxox

We never met, though it wasn't without a desire to do so.  We did have private conversations.  I miss her too and it is well that she is remembered.  It was good for us all to read her words and her compassion.

Karen,

I often see things that remind me of Kacy.  Her love of nature made me even more aware.  She lives on in us all.

Love,
Alison

-

Margherita,

I know she smiles as you think of her.  I know she is part of all she loved.

Love,
Alison

-

Sunshine, funny how she is on our minds.  I don't think she ever left us.

Love,
Alison

-

Thank you, Lori.  She deserves all the thoughts and love that we continue to feel for her.

Love,
Alison

-

yann,

Thank you for feeling as you do.  You are very special.

Love,
Alison

-

Jimmy,

I, too, think of Marge.  She taught me so much and became very special to me.

Love,
Alison

-

Balladeer,

Sy ... touched me like few have here.  His kindness enveloped me and made me feel incredibly welcome when I first came to PiP.  I loved his comments and looked forward to his poems.

Love,
Alison

-

Diana,

Yes, Kacy's passion reminds me of yours for animals.  You both love with all your heart.  I never met Kacy.  We shared a love of Alaska and nature that drew us close very quickly.  I wish I had met her, but knowing her as I did through here does not diminish the love that I have for her.

Love,
Alison

-

EmmaRose,

She remains with her poetry here in PiP.  You could look her up in the archives and get to know her a bit too.

Love,
Alison

-

Eric,

Thank you.  I was just thinking of her and feeling an overwhelming need to express that I miss her.  I miss Kacy.

Love,
Alison

-

Krawdad,

I never "met" her either, but I know that she was one helluva lady.  Thank you for rememmbering with me.

Love,
Alison
