Today's Lesson
   *******

I am
Here

and
You are
There

atleast,

That's how
it seems

I breathe

ME

and You
breathe air

Your Reality

My Dream

huh?

what?

You are
Right

I am
Wrong

I feel
you have
the Right

to see
Me

as you
see Me

I'm so
out o' site

huh?

what?

Chicken butt

huh?

what?

You are
deep

I am
shallow

Moirae
take measure
of my
tallow

huh?

what?

I see
You

I see
Me

Just rest
in the
Being

It doesn't matter
what you see

The Truth lies
in the
Seeing

The Truth

lies

in the

Seeing

huh?

what?

Beer gut

Today's Lesson
Part Two
*****

So many hats
So many Masks

All of them
are me

and yet...

I have to peel
and place

to find which
I should be

Each one
demands its own
focused dedication

and each one
speaks to ME
"alone"

and requires
Isolation

but...

I have family,
hearth and home

that hurt
when I'm so
all alone

and so...

I find my Self
in search

of a new "ME"
I can be

In which the
"others"
come together

and in corralling
I'm set Free

The "Spiritual"
and the "Redneck"
The "Native"
and  "Musician"

A Fifth one
A One thousandth One

"Heal Thy self"
Oh, Great Physician

Huh?

What?

I'll build a hut

a lean-to
in the trees

My own retreat

The voice repeats

since I first went
to my knees

as a babe
bawling

as a child
crawling

The song
remains the same

and if I bleed,
having not paid heed
then...
only I'm to blame

so...

I must seperate

that I may join

and I must
find "MY"
Middle Way

Only in the steps
of my own precepts

can I escape
my Judgement Day

Which is Today
and Yesterday
and Tomorrow,
If I deem

I must pay heed
to the Whispers,
so that I need not
hear the screams

huh?

what?

Huh?

What?

I have read
this more
than once

and I come
back

because

I like
it

huh?...there is so much that I could relate too...so many thoughts rise when reading you this morning. But the ending took over ~~
( I try to drown  out those screams with whispers)

You manage to exude so much charm into your enigmatic words.

It (you) huh? makes me smile, think, sometimes scratch my head and other times I nod in agreement.

And then, as Alison says, I have to read it again.

You have been missed.
