"Days" caught me off guard. It sounded like you were about to say "beauty of the day." I like "days" a lot better, it's a subtle reminder at the breadth of the poem's subject matter. You make it sound beautiful. South Africa is one of those countries I really must visit but have never had the chance. I liked your odd word pairings like "flower sunshine" and "rainbow delights." Very poetic. Great imagery & a very uplifting and happy poem. I like happy poems sometimes. |

Thank you, Brian. I am glad my poem worked as it was meant to. I write a lot of happy poetry, especially lately. However, I have written a lot that is very sad too. I adore my country and yes it is very beautiful, as I suppose all countries are, in their own ways. Beauty hits me full in the face, most days. Thank you, Lori.
