Oh, I love those blooming streets! It's a wonderfully positive sign that you were aware of the trees' beauty, even though you were on your way to the doc!

Your words are very intense and touching, dear Marti.

I know, the children bring joy to our days.

Love and hugs.

The picture you chose fits the poem wonderfully.

Thank you easy1. It's on the road to my neurologists and I just had to take a picture of these beautiful trees in bloom. Sadly, the blooms don't last long.

My son has one of these trees in his yard and seeing them made me so homesick for my 3 grandbabies.

Such beautiful blossoms.  I'll share picture of my Chokecherry trees with you when they bloom.  Thank you, Marti.  So lovely.

(Spring, and now)
"The Earth is like a child that knows poems. ~Rainer Maria Rilke ...

Your haiku is a compliment to the picture.
Both are pretty.:-)

Namyh, you are very kind with your words. And yes, kids are like trees in the way they bloom but more so like weeds. They grow so fast.
