She lifted her arms
So her waist could give the signal
To the man across the street to come forward

Her eyes watched as he crossed the street
With his navy blue suit on
Black shined loafers
And that steely gaze
Like he was sending his eyes
Into a mercury of pleasure
As he watched her stand
On the opposite corner

They touched one another
With his hand slowly running down her neck
Like the pears of fruit
That grew on the east side boulevard

Then, as slowly as the wind could move
They locked their hands together
As if time was gently pushing
Away the idea of time itself

Her arms,
like branches of  trees
Swayed delicately
As their long shadows
Showed every step of their romance
While the sun masqueraded in the silhouette of their figures

His hand gently touching her forehead
Gently,
Standing on the front doorsteps to his apartment.

Tomer, what a slow moving,
delicate read...
like watching an old film
unfold against its rolled frame.

Indeed I saw this in black and white
and just at the end, color unfolded.

Brava!
