She was so beautiful
inside and out.
She had a voice like an angel.
She actually sang with an
orchestra back in the day,
and could hear a song, and
play it on her piano
immediately after without
having to look at notes.
Now thats talent...

She had it all, beauty,
talent, sophistication,
and a family with 4 girls
and a wonderful husband.
She at that time actually
was singing still in clubs,
and managed to make one
record, she did have someone
who wanted to speak to her
about a possible musical
career in a more broader
audience, so things were
just on the horizon for her.
The pictures speak for
themselves, her smile
so bright and a look
of sheer happiness
in just about every
photo.
You know they say,
she was so beautiful,
she looked like a
young faye dunaway.
And thats no lie.

So here she was
living life without
a care....
And then it happened...

She got sick, real sick.
She had a cold, and instead
of it leaving her body the
normal route, it entered her
blood stream, and affected
every organ in her body.

She spent the majority of
about 3 years in and out
of hospitals.

Now her husband had to
pick up the burden of
raising 4 little girls,
and all that comes with
that, ballet, piano
lessons, etc etc...
You get the picture.

I see pictures and videos
of that time, and im
amazed at the way no
one complained neither
the mother or father.
and somehow made it work.

And by the grace of god,
she pulled thru her illness.
And she lived, and together,
they raised there family, and
spent 54 yrs together.
He passed a couple of yrs ago,
and she is now alone.

But i think you already know
this was my mother and father,
and this mothers day coming
i have to say what a special
woman and mother i have, who
never brought up about her
"past life" and what she
coulda been once to us
growing up , she only
showed love and devotion.
And I cant think of any
way to honor her except to say
it in this story and let
people know what incredible
parents i had not just for
mother but for my father too.

Mother I love you ....
Your a woman to be admired.
With love....

This is very special. I don't believe I have ever read a tribute to a mother with such passion and love. Yes, I knew it was your mother you were writing about, it is Mother's Day. Again, Dreamgal, THIS is special, very special.

Well she is special and made it easy for me to write these words. And thank you, for your kind words.

I think this is superlative, dear Dremgal, so full of gratitude. Your heart is in every word and I can relate to such an all embracing love, as I had a very special Mother too.
Happy Mother's Day.

Love and joy.
