Fair to middlin' of nowhere

In these changing
and uncertain times
one wonders why
it has to be
somewhere someone’s
something is being
torn asunder
Natural disaster’s
survival of the fittest
come and go
with matters
of the heart
broken by fate

Ah, I agree, Lori, but sometimes it isn't even the survival of the fittest. Many go down to the wrath of nature, fit or not. Another thing, although I am not a Bible scholar, I seem to recall something to the effect that "there will be wars and rumors of wars." Kinda gives me pause to wonder if I haven't had it wrong all these years. Good poem, Lori, it got me to thinking.
