She ran through the
long
long grass
in the summer sun
and touched
the blessing
of the fluffy clouds
and drank the breeze
and her heart
became
a butterfly
and danced
the sky
fragrant blue.

Diana....This could be about anyone that you have looked at with love. I like to think it one of your animal friends, as they somehow can feel "raw joy" in a way that we humans can not. I think of Precious this way now. Thank you for the lovely!

What a soft, pretty write this is.
It made me happy reading it. I envisioned
a young girl skipping thru a field with
her hands on the hem of her skirt in carefree innocent youth.

I witnessed unbound joy like this and see it now with my two new babies. Ears flopping, they run to discover each new adventure. My two older jobs will share their enthusiasm ... when they get passed the jealous phase.

This is exactly the type of poetry I love to read with my morning coffee..To wake to an incomplete world, with a completely beautiful thought, all written down for me.
