Old lives past loves
Up in smoke

Smiling at you...
you always make me
go out to look behind
your poems...

smoking, indeed.

You always have such a great way with getting a point across with so few words.
Like sunshine said you do have to look behind the words to sometimes figure out the meaning but that is what makes your writing so interesting each and every time.
Your very talented!

Thank you both

There's sometime else in that
the first line is also an allusion
to Issa's death poem:

A bath when you're born
A bath when you die
How stupid

A favorite poet for me

Thanks again

Do yeti know of corncobs?
Do corncobs know of yeti?

A good thought-provoking poem you have posted. Thanks.
