Red Lexis

Believing that I
had Miko figured out
I let my guard down
and left the keys
to my Lexis
laying around.
The next morning
my wallet, my keys
and my red Lexis
were not around,
and upon yelling
Miko's name,
nary a sound.
My cell phone
wasn't touched
at all,
I took a
quick shower
and gave Miko
a call.
"Come in Miko,
wherever you are,
I miss you Miko
and I miss my car."
Just then
she appeared
with a bag
full of eggs,
chocolate milk
and beer.
Way to go Miko,
I cheered!

Cute. Misdirection. Had me.

I liked it. It took a different turn then i expected but it was clever.

James
Sometimes we worry for good reasons, other times, not..This time it worked out for you...I like poems with a "twist", this was a good one, one of the times you worried for nothing..:-) Hope you always have that luck.

Thank you for the smiles, dear James. Sometimes we fret without a good reason, but our thought patterns "deviate" our minds.

A cute write.

Love,
Margherita
