Leaves Of Green

Time seems to stand still
A vague silence fills the air
A sense of strange expectancy is felt everywhere
What could it be, we wonder anxiously
As our thoughts become enraptured in wild reverie
And then it happens, just like in a dream
Nature comes into bloom with leaves of green
Leaves of green, leaves of green
The most beautiful thing eyes ever have seen
Leaves of green, leaves of green
Giving the landscape a luxurious sheen
Casting a reflection upon a sky eternal and blue
Never has the world seemed more alive and true

Walking down this road of life
Long and winding, filled with wonders everlast
We open our eyes in a world so vast
And heaven unveils its unbound treasure of possibility
Love is the answer, let it be
And then it will happen, just like in a dream
Nature comes into bloom with leaves of green
Leaves of green, leaves of green
Heaven is near to those who believe
Leaves of green, leaves of green
Forever and ever it would seem
Chanting praises unto a sky eternal and blue
Never has the world been more alive and true

Enchanting, dear Deep Blue! I have felt this same joy as I watched the green leaves materialize all of a sudden on the naked branches all around.

I love your enthusiasm and your gratitude for Nature's performance. May we grow in the awareness of its wonder!
