Upwards, upwards I fly,
come follow my gaze,
as I embrace the sky.
Show me the highest peak
glowing in eternal white,
where we can hover
and expose our eyes
to the starry radiance
of the night.

Come sing with me softly
the tune of communion.
Listen to the Universe
as it hums and aligns
to the song of our souls.
Sense its primordial hush
as it echoes our sighs.

Come feel with me the rise
of this indefinable longing
that gives birth to showers of tears
for you to gather and scatter
upon the pastures of desire
to make them bloom forever
in the bright colours of passion
like an inextinguishable fire.

Come live with me
this permanent Spring
embedded gracefully
at the centre of our being.
Plunge into the awareness
of this universal love
crystallized for eons
as a unique gem
within our hearts.

Upwards, upwards we fly
to be one with the gifts
of the sky.

WoW! We were on the same page . . . er . . . Universe with our poems this afternoon, Margherita. Mine took a difference road. Yours was pure beauty in the written word. From the first line to the last a great poem proclaiming the universe to be as one with us.

The trouble is that when I read your primordial passionate writes I somehow end up flying off into the other world borne higher and higher on your wonderful cries. What scares me is that, while I'm on one of these trips, I might lose my mind and just never come back! And they my friends lworry and the police will never know, and maybe they will mourn that I have left this world of schedules, clocks and papers,
But you will know what happened.

Dear Jaime, if my words allowed you to experience a winged ascension into a dreamy dimension, then you just had the right reaction. Smiles. We always must envision untold heights, even though we walk this beloved Earth. We are equipped to fly high in sweet and passionate emotions, to touch the sky so to say.
