The Beauty of Serenity

Inside a bamboo forest
I see the bamboo swaying.
Inside a bamboo forest
I hear the leaves singing.
Enjoying the beauty I see
and the sounds I hear
I close my eyes
to enjoy the serenity
of the moment.
Within the serenity
I feel a presence,
within the presence,
someone touches my arm
and whispers in my ear,
"I am here to fulfill
your dreams I am bliss,
always take the time
to embrace precious
moments such as this."
For what seemed
like an eternity
I take in the serenity.
Later I open my eyes
and no one is there,
no one except
the beauty
of serenity.

Dear James, this is really wonderful. A true gem, I could feel and touch the beauty and the serenity.

Bamboo and Vietnam didn't always mean the same thing. Still, it is what it is now and that is the main difference. Nice work.

To be gifted with a moment of serenity is indeed a blessing.  Enjoyed!

In the serenity, being one with the moment, you grasp the eternal and feel most alive. Vey nice poem, i can relate to the experience.

Read this twice my friend and be darned if I didn't see our very own serenity blaze both times...

then, the third time, I actually caught what you were meaning...(still I saw her)....

really enjoyed this james, in all honesty.
