.

The sun
This morning
A rose— in
A clear blue sky

The sea
Sounds
In my ear
Waves of my
Own memories
Lap the shore

That young
Strong man
Still within
His courage
Against the fear

A soft cool wind
Brushes my hair

I love being me

I’m so happy
You’re not here

Beautiful. Connecting the title to your last lines increases the sense of freedom you convey so intensely.

Nice work. Everything completed the other. Everything.
