As we walk away through shadows of grey
of night and
of a world of the moon

We laugh at all we left behind
we're not alone
we're in the light

Wondering where we went
and how
and how
we'll get to where we go

We've lost the light
we left it behind
we're grey, not white
alone, we fight

Passionate, but cold, callous,
I don't give a damn
we're grey

And now we don't fight
we're grey, all passion gone away
we walk in ways of shadows of grey.

Sadness and realism beautifully painted.

What part of South Africa are you from?  Honeybunch is also from South Africa.

Owl, as a proper Joburger, I love Durban! You may hate us for overcrowding your whole province in holiday season, but we appreciate the amazing weather

hi Dawn, what an artful way to say things, we have to learn to be grey, it can take a lofe time but it is rewarding, thanks a lot for the delicious write.

Dawn, anyone who loves Durban has my vote to be welcome!  For a city (I prefer the bush) it is lovely, and I wouldn't be surprised if the weather (all year round)is the best in the world.
