you said it was something by pablo
or some other name on your leather
not that you selected by title
but more how it fit your sins

and made the lovely of you cry
between the gushing rungs there
of your pleasure ladder ascension
and then sliding back down again

you said it reminded you of soup
how it soothed where you ached
and made you not want to stop
needing the kneading you discovered

you gave me your numbers at random
and asked me to try them in order
as you might be lost most anywhere
but you needed to know I was waiting

to be your very best last one ever

For the most part you completely go over/under/around my head when you write your ditties. I can see the poetical expertise that it takes to write these gems, it is just that I have never been good at riddles. I flunked the riddle course at the college of hard knocks almost every time I was given a test. However, I do admire how you phrase your lines and verses, and sometimes (hey!hey!) I even "get" it. But not today, even with the clue in the title.

jp...there are usually only a couple of viewers that would recognize the small boxes I include in my ink...I guess I write for them mostly.  Thanks for the drive by.

The curved strokes of your brush, paint tear-soothing colours on the almost lost Harley jacket – and no, not the title.  Possibly my favourite of yours so far.

Okay, Owl, I was even wrong about the title. Big deal.

Jerry, that was a comment to DS, not an explanation of the poem.  Smiles.

Oh this is so nice, I like your ending and the sliding back down effect.

What small boxes?

Anyway, with or without recognizing them ... your outstanding poetry makes me fly up the ladder of pleasure.

Love and smiles,
Margherita
