It snuck into the sunset
and curled into the sky
taking the stars away just like that
without so much as a goodbye

Then later you see
it came down between two trees
that were perfectly blessed in synchronicity
graceful ballerinas waving limbs around
dressed in darkest evening gowns

The beautiful trio in dance and flaunt
looked in the window of a downtown restaurant
and watched my chopsticks daintily take
a most delectable potato cake

As I nudged the waitress with a look see
and she looked at me as if I were draftee
seems only I caught the moon wink
when I told her that it was supposed to be pink

Haha! Fun time here, Martie, all the way around. Psst! I believe you saw the ballerinas as they strutted their stuff. Yep. Sho do.

How delightful, dear Martie!

I was in the car this evening when I saw the moon, soooooooo big, it was stunningly beautiful and I had some difficulty to remain concentrated on driving. Now I must go see where it is and enjoy it again.

Always such a deep pleasure to read you here!

Love,
Margherita

This is so sweet, sounds like a marvelous night for a moon dance.

I really love to read you, Martie~

Smiling with you Sissie...

I've seen the moon wink...
even when it was blue!

But the imagery is a Martiesque dance,
as ever was.

I saw the pink full moon yesterday early morning on the way to work. I feel for those who saw, but did not "see" it. Thanks for sharing your pink moon as only you can in your wonderful way. Enjoyed it very much.
