I was walking home from the
library as wind brought me chills. I
looked to the sky and saw how
   splended the clouds were decked
   within the sun's rays.
   Bringing vivid colors that
   could make a young lad
   blush. The sun was bright
   as an peach...with curiousity
   I reached out my hand
and grabbed it. It was warm
so I didn't get burned like
my uncle told me I would, if I ever
did such a thing. I sniffed it
   smelling it's sweet essence. My
stomach growled, so I took a bite
Don't worry it wasn't too big. It's texture
was soft, but the taste was bitter
at first. I could taste the sour,
the heat from it's inner core. Some
of it was tangy, some sweet.
I tried to savory it, but couldn't.
   I wanted another bite,
   yet the sun escaped
   my grasp and leaped
back to the sky sailing with
   the clouds east. Leaving me
   hungry for it's peachy glow.

I experienced exactly the same thing as you did here back in tha "sixties," Ken. In my case it was a real potent tab of acid that put me there.

~ At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. We are in a new phase of a very old war. ~

Okay. PiP messing with the comments again. I just commented and it isn't there. I'll try it again.

Kind of sweet and sour, and still mouth watering just the same.
