Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The page is patient
Content to wait on
My tattoos
It cares not
What ink flows
With ease
Or angst
It feels not
the pain of purges
or joy of jubilations
It accepts all
I place upon it
Without judgement

Wow! How true! Best piece I've seen on writing.

Are you so very sure of that, Lori, my friend? Methinks the page savors our scribbles and saves them up in order to dump them all into our final consciousness just before the old grim reaper claims us for eternity.

I hope you're right about the "without judgment" thing.  Whew!  If paper could talk!  I do like Jerry's reply though because he may just have something there.  In any case, you've made me think twice about what I put on paper so thank you for that.

Helen if I stopped to think twice about everything I wrote I'd never get anything on paper! LOL

I wasn't aware that you were always that sure of yourself, Lori. That must be a great way to live your life.

LOL...and here I am, seeing both sides. When I saw the title, I thought..."The Page is Impatient"...because sometimes I hear the rustlings of blank paper just calling to me....

but if yours is patient, then that is good. Like every individual, each page is either its own master, or its own submissive.

Good writing, even if I tend to agree with Jerry's take on it.

Jerry you called my bluff!

I was just contrasting my feelings about the blank page to the feelings I had written about in another poem about the impatiently tapping cursor.

I agree with your perspective too.

Hey Karilea, I think we all agree...I don't think I'm always right and Jerry makes a good point.
