Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Heartsleeve clung to the dark
like the night sky held the moon
the dark pressing her into
the lovely lunar light
illuminating
her finest features

There's a lovebite in this somewhere. Must be that moon that makes me think that way.

Actually, I saw her waiting for Bearwolf to step from the shadows and be madly passionate in the moonlights softness . . .

Now this is some great imagery. I think [since you asked] that I would make only one change, and that would be to drop the "of" in line four...

but that would be it.

No story, just a name that seemed to fit with Heartsleeve.

Hi Lori. I got a message that you had commented on "The Angel Said . . ." but your comment isn't there. PiP goofing up I guess.

Lori...There is something that happens to everything the moon touches, making it more lovely...like this poem.

Marti and Yann- Thanks for stopping in for the read. I'm glad you liked it. I like moons have one tatooed on my ankle.
