Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

0 posted 2011-04-08 09:46 PM

here i am still waiting,
just anticipating
what will lie ahead
debating, contemplating
the things that we once said
you’ve got me in a dream world,
oscillating tilt-a-whirl world,
a spinning, slide and swirl world
i am over my head
it is too much to consider,
i am truly in a dither;
my heart writhes and whithers
as all my rhymes slither
off the page to die away
the words will fall away
while I am like a feather,
unstable like the weather
slipping from a tied-up tether
on my way to being free
it is freedom I am craving,
enough of wild raving
midnight desire craving
while i am caving
the only thing worth saving

is me.

Maybe a tab of Ativan will calm you down, that is it you really want calmed down. Hah! I tried to read this fun piece out loud and had to give up on dither. Enjoyed.

Thanks, Jerry.  It was a moment of playing with words.  Thanks for the drug suggestion ~ can't wait to see what you think of my humus growing on trees poem.

Hey, Bruce.  I wrote this for an assignment on using consonants and scrapped it.  But, I still kind of enjoy it.  It makes me smile.

Dreamgirl.

Yep, it's a dizzy ride.  Kind of makes my headache but it still makes me want to laugh.  I love those kind of rides.  Thank you.

There you go, gotta love the tilt-a-whirl.

This was really fun Alison, like being at an amusement park, and you get the gold fish!!

That's what I'm talking about --- I just love it when people get all their ca-ca together and shout out their true feelings.

You go, my friend, let it all hang out!!

Hey, J-man, thank you ~ I have no problems letting my ca-ca out in poetry.  I can beat my chest with the best of them ~ and bawl my words into some kind of mish-mash of something.  Thank you so much, my dear friend.

Oh, lovely Alison, this was just the right piece of poetry to find my smile again after Namyh's poem which had put me in a fearful mess.

You are cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute, girlie, and I love your rhymes and you.

well look at you shine
love your playful wording.  I was gonna take the munchkin to an amusement park,
but maybe I'll just her read this instead,
it's got all the ups, downs, swirls and twirls
that the rides do!
