The sax was playing
Like the old man said it would

With the breeze at the wheels of the baby carriages
The aroma of coffee sifting through
Like the beans were falling from the air

Skateboards and headphones
Shopping bags and light thin jackets
Were seen down the rows of benches
Parallel to one another

The homeless strutted through
With their beanie hats and tired blue backpacks

The smoke of cigarettes
Wafted through the air

To hands being held
While lips locked

All the while
The sax continued playing
Narrating the story of
A breezy day in April.

You made me be part of the scenery and I heard the sax playing.
This is beautifully melancholic, dear Tomer.

Love,
Margherita

Very nice, my friend ... and I second Margherita.  Only thing missing (I'm all about food!) was the ice cream cone being licked...

J, appreciate the support.  Sadly, its not warm enough out yet for ice cream:/  Soon enough, though.

Cheers

OOPS!  We're in the 80's and more down here in the Houston area...it melts and drips off our elbows...
