Oh where, oh where did all the men go?
Oh, tell me please I'd reaaly like to know.
Did they go to islands in south seas?
Are they basking in the sunshine doing as they please?
All we have left are little boys.
Who want to play all day wih expensive toys.
Come on now do you think it's really fair.
To leave your family without a care.
For one whose skin is soft and fine.
She will leave you in her own good time.
As soon as shes drained you of every cent.
She will find someone else to pay the rent.
Yes, for a time she will be your great friend.
But when you are broke that will be the end.

Why, we are right here to take ALL the blame. We men have an unfair situation. I mean, women are never at fault. Men are ALWAYS the meanie. So in answer to your question, actually there aren't many men left and I will post a poem I wrote just yesterday to probe that.

P.S.:: You are correct. She will leave when the money plays out.

Duck, trust me, sometimes the men blame the women...and even worse.

But I will agree with you, the Men we use to know are not within the scope of the boys today...and it is sad that the boys today just don't know how to grow up. Maybe that's because all of the good men went to war, and didn't return?

I don't know the answer to the question, so that makes it a good poem, when you leave us pondering.

Thanks Jerry and Sunshine for commenting.
Of course, there are bad women in the world.
I've met a few myself.
I have three daughters so I have a bit of a one-sided point of view.
They have yet to find men who will stick it out.
Of course, my daughters are not perfect: but nobody is.
My wife and I have had some really heated arguments, but we stuck it out.
I was tempted to cheat several times.
Now I'm really glad I didn't
Thanks for reading.

Duck, I read your comment on your site page. Journaling is the best for you now. When my husband was ill with brain cancer I sat in the waiting room every day and wrote down everything that happened during each visit. I have three large  three hole note books written by hand.
When my daughter was in a near death accident and had to have a patch put on her arota and  with both legs broken, I again wrote every day while visiting her.She was in an induced coma so that was all I could could do. A year later I gave her the journal. It had been a help to me and it helped her as she had no memory of the accident or her early care while they kept her half asleep.

You have a lot to do now and a journal will be of great help no matter what you chose to write.Love to you and your wife. latearrival
