Plucking sunbeams
like a harp
making music
that colours dragonfly wings
and floats autumn leaves
on slow river smiles

Often wondered how those dragonflies were the beneficiary of such beautiful wings. I wonder no more. I can also understand the line "slow river smiles." Nice work.

Owl your poetry is so full of peace and beauty if you could put it in a pill or smoke it, it would become the new drug of choice for the world! (wouldn't that be cool?) Your spirit is a light that illuminates and warms us all. Bless your heart.

Delighted giggles, Jerry, about the dragonfly wings and slow river smiles at the slow river smile part!  Thank you for your enchanting reply!

Lori, I am intrigued by your first sentence; stunned and honoured by your second; and grateful and heart-warmed by your third!  Thank you.

Thank you, Dreamgal.  I am very happy about that.  I love that I am bringing peace and calm to you and Lori and perhaps others.

Thank you, Bruce.  I am glad that you enjoyed it so much.

What a lovely thing to say, Ida!  You honour me (again!).  Smiles.  Thank you.
