I sleep in the loam
with dust
for blanket
under the shade,
of your
ripening vine.

My head
a rest
on pillows of pebbles,
and clay that once
held
liquid clouds,
after the winged
dance
of eagle feathers,
and forlorn.

The cockcrow of morn
she pulls
on my terra,
the eye of my firma
weeping
as it climbs,
on the sky.

The roots of your tendrils
they search
for my
dankness
arousing me tender
as I kiss
at your toes,
awake
from my sleep,
with a mouthful
of darkness,
through thickets
of clover
and assets,
of dream.

I widen your river,
to bathe you
in pools of nectar
and sunrise
licking its mouth,
with a tongue of rain.

Surging
through gates of
of teeth
melting the bones
of my soil
into geysers
of hardened skin
and tremors.

The flanks
of your tributary
choking,
on surge and saturation
streaming down
the morass,
of your marsh
and
wetlands

You are my vision
from below
my branches that
taste
the wind for me
you are the
skintight embrace
of my vein
that gives warmth
and pulsation
in the day in
and day out,
of our
forevermore.

It was your
blueberry eyes,
that did it for me.

The way they
looked down
one night in the rain,
at the turf of my
devotion,
and simply
smiled,
as we braided
our fingers
into the seeds,
of our earth.

And, if things don't work out you can always have those eyes in some pancakes...aw just kidding.

This is a beautiful passionate work it really is. Too many great lines to highlight.

Superb!

Strains of Fats Domino, Richy style, and I came to the last thought with a gargantuan sigh, for no one can hold blueberries in their fingers, but it's obvious your heart is forever stained juicysweet in indigo.
