You are the essence of my fantasies
whispering in my ear
like a rustle in the breeze
tells me what I long to hear.

Like a kite flies in the sky
with anticipation that exceeds
when you take me to the limit
my hearts desire you appease.

You are the soft and tangible touch
cast and captured on my sea
the sun that sets behind closed eyes
shaded blue, enraptures me.

To the brink where I am pushed
releasing me as I let go
connecting with my heart strings
there to catch me when I fall.

You are the cloud I'm drifting through
fitting in the missing piece
completing that which puzzles me
a wonder that will never cease.

Seasoning my appetite
the main course on my menu
you are the vintge in my wine
an endless panoramic view.

Like flowers line a pathway
you are the bouquet in my garden
in the here where we are now
before the twilight darkens.

You are the stroke upon my brush
the painting in the picture
our time within the frame
for all my days,  you'll linger.

WoW! Blues, don't hold back, tell us really how you feel, you'll feel better after you do.

This was intense in the area of love personified, with just enough lust to keep it interesting. I loved both emotions.

You are truly such a kind and loving person.

Whoever inspired this is fortunate indeed.

Well if its painted blue, then blue must be the color of passion Enjoyed.

Dear Lori, one could rest peacefully with feelings like this lingering above their final resting place.

As much as I try I can’t really explain the emotions that arise from such beauty.

Whether this person knows how you feel, or ever will, how lucky is he that someone so special could hold him, so close.

What a gorgeous picture you’ve painted Bluesy, of your own loving heart.

(((You)))

Never any doubt, in my mind, about the writer or her heart - from first to last word...and then again...

Hi Bluesy - Love has never been as beautiful as when painted blue by you.  The heart must be truly open to write something so lovely and meaningful.

'beautiful', 'lovely', 'romantic', 'inspired'...doesn't leave much room for those of us who are word-challenged to describe this wonderful write...so I'll just say I enjoyed its rapture (and go back and read it again)

You are one of the few poets who can do romantic poetry really well, Blues. This is a fine example of that.

You paint a happy picture here, and do it well, although the choice you made for the final word portrays a hint of sadness.
