Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I didn't think
you'd ever wake up
I've waited for hours
with last night tempting me
to touch you into my morning
much too soon to be up
but anticipation
lifted my lids early
and I could still see
the sparks
from that fire
you'd lit in me

This poem makes me want to go to sleep ... just so I can wake up to maybe what you woke up to.  Know what I mean.  Gonna go take a nap now ... and wish on a dream.

Hah! And there is NOTHING quite like to lovers desiring the same thing the morning after. It is special. Very much so.

Oh, yes, very nice, Lori!  I'd also be running off to have a nap if I thought I could wake up like that.

Such excitement in a serene moment - ah, those are the best. Enjoyed.

Oh what a night it was
It really was, such a night.

You're awake and ready for action again?

Like Jeff Foxworthy says, "after making love there's some sort of energy transfer from man to woman, because my wife can get up and clean the house and prepare meals but me, well, they need to put crime scene tape around me I'm lifeless."

I know what he means.
If we're all taking this the right way....smile...

I sure had fun with it Lori....
