Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I didn't think
you'd ever wake up
I've waited for hours
with last night tempting me
to touch you into my morning
much too soon to be up
but anticipation
lifted my lids early
and I could still see
the sparks
from that fire
you'd lit in me
