VELVET SILENCE
26 March 2011

Long light reflections
at the enchanting hour
flow into swirling shadows
of pas de deux woodland grace
and which is you
and which is me
doesn’t matter
any more
for what counts
is the beauty
of the trance.

This is a gem, I agree with Bluesy. You created a wondrous atmosphere, dear Diana.

Yes, the beauty of the trance is so relaxing....It's appreciation for the true beauty in the world, a beauty that we sometimes take for granted but never should.
Excellent Diana!

It's a special person who can recognize the beauty of the trance; and an even more special person who can write about it.  You are special.

Thank you, Blue.  You make me smile very happily!

Thank you, Margherita for your lovely reply.

Thank you, Eric, for your kind words.  You are right – it is the trance in which the dance held the pair, and a metaphor for the beauty of the world.

Thank you, Alison.  I don’t know about being special – but you certainly make me feel special, but then you are so special yourself!  Smiles.

Oh, I so like the feeling of immersion with another in an enchanted tryst with nature. Another gorgeous penning, Owl, and I've a yen to wander the serenity, too.  There is a sense of timelessness about this one...
