This poem was written to me by my boyfriend - Allen Jefferies

Thoughts of You and I

In the dark of night
A cool white mist blankets the melting snow
As I lean against the leafless apple tree
Chilled winds make frost in the air

Gazing to the blinking stars
In a galaxy far above
Many thoughts of you and I
Flow like a mid summer's stream

It's a journey
To an unknown destiny
Of curved furrows,
Over shiny sand and hardened rock

Only to the reality
With mind and soul as one
We stand together at the edge of lost time
Yet to enter a new beginning

A venture to embark
With hope as our compass
Helpless to the fate of loves heart
To guide us passage

Looking and finding
A new horizon
That only you and I
Need believe and want

Lovely, Kat. Why don't you invite Allen to join Pip? Even if he only wrote the poem to you because you are a poet, he, whether he likes it or not, is also a poet, and if he can express himself about you as well as he did in this poem, he can write about any of his thoughts and get pleasure out of doing so.
