..what is key about Kyoka is that they're supposed to be humorous..they use irony, sarcasm, satire, wry
humor, making fun of oneself, making FUN, and spoofing.so, i'm wondering if the kyoka, here, meets
Kyoka standards..because someone told me it wasn't
humorous..

door slammer who delights
in startling?
my ladder is missing rungs
and my arms shake!

I think it is funny, well, at least humorous, Spiros. Damn, you're in a tree, your ladder is missing some rungs and you're arms are shaking from total fear.

Gotta love it.

..friends, perhaps i should have used quotation marks..what is happening in this poem (it may not be clear enough!) is that
the narrator is addressing a door slammer
(a neighbor), who is stuck atop a tree
..spiros

Well it would certainly be humorous to the neighbour.
I like that..."door slammer"

I enjoyed your write Spiros. Not as much as Jerry, he laughed three times....smile....
