My wake
has found,
a fickle breeze,
stopping and
blowing,
coming,
and going.

I want
to be,
a windmill one
time
on a calm
wet day,
who can rest
his arms
and actually
think
for a minute
without
my head
spinning
and vibrating
in
and out,
of circles
saturated.

The broken
gate
that talks,
with the wind
about exits
and creaks,
and openings
being slammed
in it’s face
that hinges
on rows
of picketers
latching and
barring,
the embracement
of possibility.

That is me.

Always on the
Fence,
about
wedding
one garden,
with another
my yard
with her plot
my terrace
with her
backyard
stonewalling
in quiescence
as the
hole
in the yearn,
falls
sideways,
through the
air

I never did,
learn how
to love.

Not like ice,
loves heat
when melting
popsicles
drip,
down a
satiny chin,
or how curiosity,
loves
the unknowing
of mind,
but not
penchant,
and heart.

My love
is honor,
and inner holy
place,
where worship
that sails
on swells of
vagaries
squirm,
through the silent
color
of night.

Host,
of devotion
placed
on scarlet
tongue,
as I lick
the sign
of the crucifix
on the body
writhing,
across the
heart
and down
the river
valley
while she lays
on the
angel
arching
her back
commanding
forgivness
for not avowing
her,
the coveted
pennance,
of
liquid prayer,
and glowing
sin.

These days
they
find me
weary,
constant
of the
far removed
bitten
lips,
of reverie
and finger
printed
loins
of ache
and
fulfillment,
wandering
forlorn
through
fields
of melancholy,
doleful
in my faith
of twain and
bind,
forlorn
in my
detachment
of your,
evelopment.

WOW !! Just about all I can say! You say "I never did" but your poems say other wise.
Enjoyed as always!

You did, you did, dear Richy. What else is this than knowing about love?

Some memorable lines here, as always.

Don't be weary, we want you vigil and creative the way only you can be ...

This is a highly captivating write.

Love,
Margherita

Sweet Margy, I think what I know is everything, not, about love. True love I think will forever evade me...

Thanks, Honey Bee, for always... being.

You know, when I read your poetry I feel like I am traveling down this long road.  Maybe it's a lane, filled with beauty and surprises.  My pace is slow so I can enjoy the sounds and touches of thoughts.  It's a perfect place to explore.
