QUIVER THE WIND
17 March 2011

Fragile petals in a wish moment
like the flutter-fall of a curling leaf
that was when
and now was then
and air so fresh
you could touch it
tomorrow
with tree fingers
in sunrisen whispers
of a day
that almost wasn’t.

Thank you Martie, for your absolutely delightful reply.  Yes, every day IS a miracle in itself, and then there are so many miracles within each day too - but it saddens me that so many people miss seeing so many miracles.  I chortled with glee at my poem knowing that each day is a miracle!  I am thrilled that you found the poem enchanting.

Damn, Owl, you have written a supreme poem. Excellent. Even more so. One of those I'm saying wish I'd've wrote that.

What else can I say that hasn't been said? Wow. Such wonderful imagery. I always enjoy your pieces, they're quite serene. Always brightens my day.

This is tremulous, and I feel the wonder of life vividly in it, holding everything that means anything in a breath.  I didn't want to exhale... LOL  Such lovely poetry!  ~Karen

Thank you, Jerry.  I am very honoured by your absolutely lovely reply!  Smiles.

Thank you, Trina, for your very kind words.  I am very happy indeed that I brighten your day.  Beeeg smiles.

Thank you, Eric.  I am glad you do.

Thank you, Marti.  I am glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you, Karen.  I love your whole reply, but so very especially, “holding everything that means anything in a breath.”  I hope you have exhaled now . . . LOL

I haven’t been able to get online for a few days – Internet problems, which should be over for good (hard for me to imagine) in the next 2 to 4 weeks.

Thank you, Amaryllis.  Actually it wasn't an ode to spring, but I am glad you enjoyed it anyway.  Smiles.
