Right on, Miss Happy Pants!  lol
Adorable pic. ~ and a tad bit scary! ~ But I trust the little duckies made it safely across the road with nary a feather touched!

Lord love a duck!

The precious little sweetie-pies!  Like Linda, I found this a tad scary, but only a tad – your poem wouldn’t have been such a happy one if they didn’t get safely out of the way of those huge big vehicles!

LOL yes the ducks made it just fine...seems like they live there at the truck stop...I guess they know that those big burly truckers have soft hearts and will give them bread.

The line of trucks was backed up several times because of trucks coming to a halt to let the little guys figure out which way they wanted to go.

Giggles at your reply, Dixie - you must have some very kind human and mechanical hearts there where you live!  Smiles.

You must have visited my town where we have "Duck Crossing" signs on our main street downtown. Love the graphic. How did you do that?

thanks folks! I'm sure glad you enjoyed this!

Marcia, I took the picture with a digital camera when I was on the road with my husband. This is a truck stop up in Maryland (if I remember correctly)The ducks really were there, no image fabrication here. I thought it was so neat to see the trucks going out of their way to not hit the ducks, or coming all the way to a dead stop. In my time at truck stops, I have never seen the same thing twice.

I have an account with Photobucket and they allow you to place text onto  your pictures. Email me if you want to try it and need some help.
